For many generations, Muskoka has been a place of recreation and summer fun. However, for the first generations to arrive here, Muskoka was a harsh and rugged landscape that required an incredible amount of labour to make habitable. The artists will use the motif of the one room settler’s cabin and the objects within it to explore the relationship between our natural and built environment and how our interaction with these environments has evolved.
