Indulge in an assortment of teas, coffee and sweet treats at an Afternoon Tea Social on Sunday October 14th at Woodchester. While treating yourself to some regal relaxation you may choose to play a board game, read, socialize with the other tea-goers, or simply sip in silence. Space is limited so plan to arrive early. Admission by donation.
Woodchester was built in 1882 by Henry James Bird. The Bird family had been known to entertain their guests lavishly. They often held societal gatherings such as garden parties and afternoon teas out of their unique octagonal home. Now, after more than a century the social legacy of Woodchester continues on as it opens its doors for monthly afternoon tea socials.
